This Ralph Lauren car collection is pretty amazing if I say so myself. Listen to the engine sounds during your visit…adds to the experience.

Its been a while since I’ve posted anything here. Here’s a quick jump-start tune to a new beginning, Vanity Theft. I haven’t had time to research new music so I click randomly on soundcloud hopping to come across good tunes. Today was a good find. If you like them drop them a thumbs up.

JDK Design and Iskra partnered with SRAM to celebrate Lance Armstrong’s return to competitive cycling by releasing a series of seven limited-edition posters. The posters, part of SRAM’s “Choose To Win” campaign, honored Armstrong’s 2009 season, from the Tour of California to the Tour de France.

Visit my friends quest to conquer those student loans we all battle one way or the other.

is here!! Watching the soccer matches is one thing, but to also spend hours viewing “big pictures” photo coverage is awesome too. Watching how the games unfold & people coming together all over the world for this one sport is kinda amazing. My feelings say Brazil or Germany will take the gold home this year.

As a kid, i remember ordering McLaren folders from the book far…why you ask? well, its still probably one of my favorite cars. This site designed AKQA did an impressive job conveying the elegance of the car.

A personal project to keep me updated w/ my photography. Hopefully it will be a continuous project with new photography postings throughout the month. Recently purchases a 10-22 canon wide angle lens & planning on pushing it to its limits. Enjoy

I know this album maybe a few years old to most of you, but its really new to me. I’ve had a few songs leading from the “garden state” soundtrack but never did i get around to purchasing Zero 7 // When It Falls album.

check out these amazing painted illustrations from Eric Zener, ah…his compositions are just perfect as well.

“believes the best decisions about zero emissions is one that engages the imagination.”
A very neatly designed site, including each article. navigation could be a little bit more user friendly but i don’t mind finding my way around (but for the average user could be a bit complicated).
if you haven’t seen avatar, i highly recommend. the story is good & the cg is defiantly impressive. & if you love concept art as much as i do, get yourself a hard cover “art of avatar” features one of many favorite artist, Ryan Church along w/ many others.
Here’s a very nice cg 2009 reel brought to you by hydraulxfilmz (includes making of avatar, you wont want to miss).

at first i thought this was an illustration, but, its an actual true type font….a free download i must say.

genius! the illustrations for these are amazing (let alone the concept). i’m debating to purchase the pilot ones or the swamps of dagobah (for collection purposes of course).
i can’t rock something this cool.

the end of the decade is upon us & i have added a new “to do” item on my new year res list. i looked back at all my bookmarks for 09 & non of them are organized by any category what-so-ever. so, this year…i want to blog all my bookmarks for 2010 (yeeaay!!) including old URL links i’ve saved years back, this way i can help you & i bookmark a nice laundry list of cool bookmarks for 2010.
So lets start with an old bookmark, Crisvector. very nice work & yes, all vector kids.

has amazing work. He’s portfolio site is also nicely designed. I always thought of doing the following navigation cursor (we must have something in common)

i like this…(link)

as of many of my 3 readers know…i love Robots! & Japan has built a 59-foot tall Gundam in Tokyo w/ really neat night lighting. How cool is that?!!..its only going to be up for a limited time but this doesn’t mean the craftsmanship is cheap. detailed armor & armor number stats. I remember building this exact model when i was a little kid, only mine was 6 inches high that came in a box labeled Level-1 (snap on). Come to think about it, i still have it. Mine came with wings though…either way, i would be very excited to see this in person.

kurtnoble.com has some pretty well designed stash…check it. definitely think the Roubaix-sl2 is a stand out site for me. The navigation is easy for any user & i really love the hot spots. Its a perfect use of the AS3 carousel concept, never really seen one that functions so seamless.
don’t you hate when someone executes something you once thought of first? yes, it happened here w/ the screen record of site navigations (&” speeding the video by 2x-5…no biggy, i’ll live.)
http://kurtnoble.com/work/#/specialized-roubaix-sl2/

Fun & simple presentation by Jacek Utko who speaks the value of creativity by saving the newspapers. I really like the newspaper designs he did, if newspapers look like this in the U.S I would purchase them.
Watching Teds videos are the best, always love coming back for some knowledge. Makes me feel like i’m back in school (i miss school).

sweet navigation, including the work….just can’t get enough.

“An interactive platform can help breathe life into a brand, giving it an added dimension to communicate it’s values. It is exciting — those of us who work in print can appreciate the beauty and relevance considered animation can bring to a project, just as we can distinguish the individual merits of a beautifully written book or it’s screen adaptation.”
…keep reading? link here

this is beautiful…nuff said

this is neat, man…papervision is taking over.

with photoshop that is. Take a look at the retouching tab!, its incredible….i spent hours enjoying the process of each photograph. I need to revisit my old photos now. I remember visiting this site long time ago, but this time it really caught more of my attention, does that happen to you? second visit is better…

for the great clips. Take a look at these motion graphic clips from “Thank you.” (with their recently new launched site. Its good….)
(( i’m tired..))

Bryan Berg the card stacking master! very neat, i don’t think i have the patience for this. Here’s a Lexus commercial clip where he stacked cards on a Luxus model.

hey! I’m not the only one to believe shoes tell a lot about the person. Take a look here, AmoebaCorp took this idea & made a video! It works…love the vintage look, perfect fit the their target audience.
The site’s pretty neat as well, definitely AS3 with a pretty big data base. To bad it doesn’t offer deep linking, but search for the “Design Thinkers (2008 Conference)” tab to check out the video. Section also includes the identity for the conference, from invitation to merchandise.

beautiful illustrations by aeriform. Geeze, very clear illustrations in the “creative review section”…i know mine get hella sloppy at times. He’s color choices are all so enjoyable haha, (not sure about the site having no progress bar for so many images being loaded at once.)

Thought it was the color wheel at first, but turns out it wasn’t haha. Great illustrations here, the panda’s funny…i like how short & simple the clip is.

The theme for this years TocaMe Design Conference was “Hit by Inspiration,” which featured Gmunk! (and many more artists). Hope you enjoy watching it as much as i did (love this clip….)

this site really gets the “scion united” campaign across. Geeze, AS3 you think? the loading & functioning of the site is so seamless.

Love this clip! Action pack suspense. I want become a ninja someday…..& when i do, I’ll free you Princess Leia from those Hutts you hear!

Come visit Conrad’s new site! A san francisco based artist with really neat paintings. We go waAAaay back.

FWA site of the month! has really neat illustration & clean navigation….i really want to touch these little models.

The Embassy has certainly created some pretty cool Star Wars spot commercials for cartoon network. Take a look, site also includes many other neat clips. But of course Star Wars is the best, why? HA, because its “STAR WARS” of course!

this is really neat! Michael Hansmeyer is architect and programmer who explores the use of algorithms to generate architectural forms. He’s site is really sweet as well.

Some good work here. A very mechanical site (reason why i like) but must say navigation is little confusing. the work is worth bookmarking. Very good typographic & illustrational skills i might add…

Hey everyone, check out my good friends newly redesigned online portfolio. Completed in an impressive 2 weeks! design & coded…

Amazing interior & architectural design here. Paris-based Agence Jouin Manku took on its first large-scale integrated architectural and interior design commission in 2003, when YTL Design Group from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, invited it to design the residence of a Malaysian power family.
